Privacy & Cookies
Last updated October 4, 2026
Koozzle only uses its own cookies. There are no advertising or third-party tracking cookies on this site, and we don't sell or share your information.
Cookies we use
- PHPSESSID — keeps your game, and your login if you have one, working while you play. Deleted when you close your browser.
- kz_vid — a random ID that lets us count how many people visit and how many come back. It doesn't contain your name, email or anything else about you. Lasts 13 months and resets on each new visit.
- remember_me — only set if you tick “Remember me” when logging in, so you stay logged in. Lasts 30 days, and is removed when you log out.
What we record when you visit
- Your approximate location (country, state, city), worked out from your IP address. Your IP address is stored too.
- Whether you're on a phone or a computer
- The page or link that brought you here, including any campaign tags in that link
- How many games you start and finish
We use this only to understand how Koozzle is used and where our visitors come from.
If you create an account
We store your name, email address, a securely hashed password (never the password itself), and your game statistics. If you sign in with Google or Facebook, we receive your name and email address from them.
Emails
When you share Koozzle by email or use the Contact form, the message is sent right away. We don't save the email addresses you enter.
Your choices
- You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. The game still works without kz_vid and remember_me.
- To have your account and its data deleted, contact us.
